Weak point

After all these I know where my weak point is.
Knowing my weak point means now I know how to deal with it and prevent it from happenning.
Just as the teachings say, after becoming a Christian makes one more sensitive to their sin, and see more and more of one's own iniquities.
And after seeing it, I can now ask Father in my prayers, to help me overcome it.
Thank you Father for letting me see and giving me strength.

This weekend I learned a lot. On Saturday we had student fellowship with the topic "Heresies". Then again on Sunday morning bible study, we changed from usual bible study to discuss more about heresies.
Before these 2 sessions I thought I do know a fair bit about heresay and was looking forward to just know a bit deeper on what they are. But after listening to the speakers, it surprised me how little I knew, and how vulnerable I am to deceiving "facts" because of my ignorance.
"But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves." (2 Peter 2:1)

"As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many......At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people." (Matthew 24: 3-5, 10-11)

There are still a lot for me to learn, and most important of all is to strengthen my knowledge in the Bible, so that I will be able to tell what's right and what's wrong.
Another lesson for me from these sessions was that, we are responsible for what we tell other people about the gospel. We have to first make sure that what we know is right, so that when we are spreading the gospel, we are spreading what's written in the Bible, but not our own or other people's opinion.

"For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake." (2 Corinthians 4:5)

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-- which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned! Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up." (Galatians 1:6-11)
